Faye is personal to our founder. It had meaning before it had a place on a jewellery label. And while the story behind that meaning belongs close to the heart, its spirit is something we can share: some names are not simply spoken. They are carried.
Faye became the heart of our name because we believe personal things do not have to be explained to everyone to be deeply felt. A memory can live in a word. A feeling can find a place in something small.
That intimacy is what we wanted to preserve in Faye&Calla: a sense of connection, without telling anyone else what their jewellery should mean.
Then there is Calla. The name brings to mind the quiet, sculptural curve of a calla flower: a form that feels complete without needing to be complicated. We think of it as the visual counterpart to Faye's personal meaning.
Where Faye speaks to what we carry inside, Calla speaks to how we express ourselves. A clean line. A beautiful curve. A detail noticed only when you come closer.
